Porticus has selected IPBridges for its technology partner, handling all VOIP and telephony aspects of its GPS based betting system. With Global Positioning System technology embedded in the customer cell phone, the Porticus / IPBridges platform will take calls from the PSTN, verify caller location in real time, and route calls over VOIP to casino agents. The combined solution simplified the current Nevada pager based systems, enabling easy access phone wagering for casino customers.
